Crime Prevention Program and Month: Havilah
There is not yet a final date for the move of the Crime Prevention Officers to a centralized office. See handout with information about events during Crime Prevention Month.

Executive Director’s Report/ Building Update: Anne Dufay
All submissions for the Five Year budget plan with Chairs and Directors were due today, and the document is still in progress. These plans reflect hopes and dreams rather than real dollars.
A report about missing records from Neighborhoods such as approved Minutes has been sent out, so please send outstanding items.

See handout of Grant Agreement from City Council which shows annual updates for dates and amounts. Motion to approve (with potential increase to Small Grants) by Marianne, second by Chris. Passes unanimously with 1 abstention.

SEUL will have the float from the Avenue of Roses Parade in the Division-Clinton Street Fair in July.

City Archives Presentation: Diana Banning
City Archives is the official repository for city documents, and has the goals of helping city agencies manage records for legal reasons, giving bureaus a place to store records, and archiving the city’s history since 1851. It is a resource centers for scholars, genealogists etc., and includes social history. Neighborhood documents are part of history and connected to city government, and they are inviting donations of Neighborhood Association records. They are currently working on the records of Neighbors West/Northwest.

Small Grants Report: Kristin Hagstrom
The 2011 Small Grants program is funded by ONI with the goal of building community and sustaining neighborhoods. SEUL received 40 applications requesting a total of $142.000, and has $22,500 to distribute. A committee of SEUL board members and staff have recommended 15 for funding (see board memo) based on questions answered in the proposals, and submits them for board approval.
