Since 1968, the SE Uplift Neighborhood Coalition, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has provided critical staff and organizational support to thousands of volunteers fostering safe, vibrant and diverse neighborhoods within our coalition. SE Uplift empowers citizens to effectively resolve challenges and uplift communities through a variety of skill-building techniques and resources.
Our community programs include Solarize SE, Neighborhood Small Grants, Graffiti Abatement Community Grants and Land Use and Sustainability.
Bike Commuter Workshop
September 1st at 7:15pm
The Mt. Scott-Arleta Neighborhood Association and the Bicycle Transportation Alliance will be co-hosting a workshop directly following the MSANA board meeting that begins at 6:30pm.
Topics will include:
* Safe and legal riding
* What you need to know about lights and rain gear
*Carrying stuff on your bike
* Route planning and maps
