Businesses are a key component of a sustainable future for our community.  SE Uplift is working with business associations to create business sustainability networks in southeast Portland. These networks will work collaboratively to find ways to lower the environmental impact of their operations.  By linking together business owners that have an interest in sustainability we hope to develop projects and offer educational opportunities.

The Hawthorne Blvd. Business Association and SE Uplift are hosting a discussion about the economic case for operating a sustainable business and how Hawthorne Blvd. might market itself as a sustainable business district.  Please join us for this event.  Everyone is welcome, whether a business owner along Hawthorne Blvd. or in any other business district in southeast Portland.
