Feast for Southeast - A Grassroots Project for the Community, by the Community
Feast for Southeast is a grassroots Thanksgiving event, for the community BY the community. It is planned by a group of neighbors from all over Southeast Portland and focused on the neighborhoods encompassing Mt. Scott/Arleta, Woodstock, Brentwood/Darlington and Foster/Powell. The group is led by Roberto Selva and strongly supported by Lifehouse Church, various SE Portand Neighborhood Associations, local nonprofits and businesses, and other sponsors as well as individual donors and volunteers.
Feast for Southeast will take place at Mt. Scott Community Center on Thanksgiving day - from 2pm to 4pm. Whether individuals are interested in attending, volunteering, or both - it is a wonderful opportunity to share a great meal with some neighbors, talk about what you're thankful for in 2011, and what you'd like to be thankful for in 2012.
