Neighborhood Cleanups are well under way!

Do you have items in your home that are difficult to dispose of? This is your chance for a truly rewarding spring cleaning! Neighborhood Associations use their cleanups to raise money for projects in their communities—and you can contribute by dropping off any and all unwanted bulky waste and hard to recycle items that may be taking up valuable space in your home! Scheduled Cleanups:

Brentwood-Darlington:  6801 SE 60^th Avenue, May 5^th from 9am to noon; cost is $15-$35 per load

Hosford-Abernathy: Cleveland High School, April 21^st from 9am to 1pm; donations requested

Kerns & Buckman: Location TBD, April 21^st from 9am to noon; cost is $5-10 per car, $10-15 per small truck and $15-20 per full-sized truck

Laurelhurst: 3847 NE Glisan Street, All Saints Parish and School, May 12^th from 8am to 1pm; donations requested

Mt. Scott Arleta & Foster Powell: 5109 SE 66^th Avenue, Arleta School, May 5^th from 9am to 2:30 pm; cost is $8 per car, $15-20 per truck, $20-25 per large load and $2 per tire (no rims)

Mt. Tabor & North Tabor: SE 57^th and Oak Street, Mt. Tabor Middle School Parking Lot, April 28^th from 9am to 1pm; cost is $10-15 per regular load (car), $25 per large load and $30 per oversized load

Richmond: 1844 SE Cesar Chavez Blvd (39^th Avenue), Central Christian Parking Lot, June 9^th from 9am to 1pm; cost is $10-25

SMILE: SE 22^nd and Nehalem at the South End of Westmoreland Park, May 19 from 9am to 2pm; cost is $6-12 per car, $12-18 per truck, $18-30 per large truck, $30 for oversized and $15 per appliance with Freon & small donation requested for senior curb side pick up

Sunnyside: St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, April 21^st from 9am to noon; cost is $6 per car, $10 per SUV/wagon and $14 per truck/van

South Tabor: 2700 SE 67^th Avenue, Trinity Fellowship, May 28^th from 9am to 1pm; cost per load TBD
