SE Uplift Neighborhood Small Grants Information

Neighborhood Small Grants Program Guidelines

Proposed projects must address one or more of the following guidelines in order to qualify for consideration:

  • Projects that build community in neighborhood associations and communities with the SE Uplift coalition area
  • Projects that build community in

    community-based organizations working with underrepresented populations within the SE Uplift coalition area

  • Projects that show partnerships between neighborhood associations and community-based organizations with the SE Uplift coalition area
  • Projects that show partnerships between neighborhood associations and underrepresented organizations and communities within the SE Uplift coalition area

SE Uplift’s Preferred Use of Funds

Preference will be given to projects that:

  • Build capacity in the neighborhood system.
  • Support engaging traditionally underrepresented groups in neighborhood association activities.  
  • Show partnerships between two neighborhood associations or an association and a traditionally underrepresented community or community-based organization that supports traditionally underrepresented communities.
