New Staff at SE Uplift

SE Uplift is happy to announce three new staff members.

Louisa Lakos has accepted the position of Office Coordinator with SE Uplift. Louisa holds a Master of Science from Middle Tennessee State University in Health, PE, Recreation and Safety and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Business Administration and Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon. Louisa was a Pac-10 Division 1 soccer player for U of O and spent many years coaching soccer at the collegiate level. She is well-travelled and enjoys anything outdoors. Some of her favorite outdoor activities include mountaineering, backpacking, cycling and running. Louisa is very happy to be part of SE Uplift and is excited to give back to the community through her role as SE Uplift's Office Coordinator.

Blythe Pavlik has accepted the position of Communications Program Manager, most recently held by Ruthann Bedenkop.  Blythe received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies, with an emphasis in civic engagement, social responsibility and leadership from Portland State University. Blythe is an active community volunteer and is currently the committee leader for the Portland chapter of Friends of the World Food Program, the non-profit organization tasked with funding the United Nations' World Food Programme. Blythe enjoys participating in community events, traveling around the world, and actively pursues any opportunity to camp in her "new" 1989 VW Van. She brings her passion for community involvement and a fondness for words to SE Uplift as the new Communications Program Manager.

And Janet Kelly has accepted the position of Receptionist with SE Uplift. Janet is an active community volunteer and in her spare time, is an avid walker. SE Uplift is pleased to welcome Janet to the staff.
