At this time, our contractor plans to begin on-site operations in early to mid April.  Overall construction is expected to last over the summer however the contractor is not expected to take this full-time frame on all three streets.  As with any road construction, there will be impacts to both the traveling public as well as businesses and residents along the project.  To help minimize these impacts extensive traffic control plans and specifications were incorporated into the Project.  The City and Contractor fully intend to work with the abutting neighbors and businesses to accommodate needed access and deliveries without unreasonably delaying the work activities.  Project staff will be meeting with the contractor soon to go over where and when to start, and how long the work will take to complete.
