It’s time for another sustainability focused workshop here at SE Uplift!

And We Are Looking For Your Feedback!

Thank you for attending our last workshop on community resource sharing!  The success of the event was in large part because the topic idea came from our dedicated community volunteers. As we look forward to our next workshop we want to make sure that community input is again solicited and considered.

We have had our ear to the ground and are currently considering topic ideas such a; (1) green spaces and working with the city (pocket parks, tree plantings and urban orchards, alley ways) to establish different models of project execution, ownership and maintenance; and (2) composting programs for multi-family units (over 5 units).

Before we move forward in planning our next workshop, we are hoping to get your feedback on whether or not either of these topics would be of interest to you and your community and if so, whether or not you have any suggestions on speakers for these topics. Alternatively, we want to know if you, or anyone on your board, has a better or more suitable topic idea to share with us.

Thank you in advance for your feedback and your passion for sustainability!

To share your feed back please email:

Thank you for joining us here at SE Uplift Saturday October 20, 2012 for our first quarterly sustainability workshop on Community resource sharing!

To our guests who shared their imagination and passion for sharing

To our Speakers who are hard at work in our communities

And to our donors who provided delicious and sustaining treats

We couldn’t have pulled off without you!

Stay tuned for the next workshop coming up in late January! More details to come!

Want to share a topic idea for an upcoming workshop?

Topics should be focused on providing knowledge, skills and resources that are currently not, or under, provided with in the coalition’s geographic area. Topics should be framed in the neighborhood context and fit the neighborhood scale. All workshops will be geared towards “how to execute a project”, but will not focus on facilitation of the project itself.
