Emergency Notification System:

The city of Portland and surrounding counties have instituted community notification systems that can text, call or email residents and businesses throughout the area impacted by, or in danger of being impacted by, an emergency or significant event. These systems will be used by emergency response personnel to notify those individuals, homes and businesses at risk with information on the event and/or actions that may be needed to protect life safety.
