Kerns Coming Events

Kerns Neighborhood Association (KNA) invites neighbors and business owners to join us at our annual picnic on National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3. The festivities will be held at Oregon Park, located at NE 29th and Oregon from 6:00 pm until dark. KNA will provide food, raffle and auction prizes, live music, as well as entertainment for kids. This event is a great way to meet neighbors and help build a stronger community.

Join other Kerns neighbors for the Southeast Sunday Parkways event, taking place on Aug. 15, between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Kerns Neighborhood Association will be hosting this community event in the Northwest Publishing parking lot, on the north side of Ankeny and west of 28th Avenue. Helmets will be distributed by KNA for five dollars through the Legacy Trauma Nurses Program. Whole Foods will also be on site with children’s activities. Local bands, including Pancake Breakfast, will also be in attendance.
