Our next meeting is Tues., Feb. 15 at 6 p.m.  at the Pacific Crest Community School, which is located at NE 29th Ave. and Davis St.  

All neighbors, landowners and business owners are welcome.  Pizza, salad and drinks are provided.

Kerns / Buckman Cleanup Success

Earth Day Event sponsored by SOLV and Metro

On Saturday April 16, Kerns / Buckman Neighborhood volunteers collected over 9 tons of bulky waste, metal yard debris and recyclable material at our clean up site.  A special thanks to our neighborhood businesses that donated food for the event including Tapalaya, Stark Naked Pizza, Starbucks and Stacatto Gelato.  Volunteers from Alaska airlines and the neighborhood also worked with a city crew doing graffiti abatement, including cleaning utility poles and removing graffiti.  Also, thanks to the student volunteers from Central Catholic High School.  The neighborhood sincerely appreciates everyone's efforts in helping make the event a success.
