Fiscal Support for Community Building

We support neighborhood associations and other community groups with fiscal support. Main areas of support are:

  • Serve as fiscal sponsor for groups without non-profit status
  • Support for cleanups, block parties and grants.
  • Allocate communications funds.

Neighborhood Leadership

We support neighborhood association board members in running their neighborhood associations smoothly. Main areas of support are with:

Urban Planning

We support residents in playing an active role in the development that takes place in their neighborhoods. Main areas of support are with:

  • Land Use Notices: understanding and responding to development proposals
  • Organizing neighborhoods to influence land use and transportation policy
  • Convening the Land Use & Transportation Committee to address livability issues affecting neighborhoods throughout the coalition

Southeast Uplift Board & Policy Program

Southeast Uplift Board provides overall support for community participation in the neighborhood system. The Board of Directors sets policies and oversees program development to address Southeast Uplift’s mission to increase participation and promote livability in our coalition area.
