Neighborhood Cleanups

Neighborhood association and community area cleanups are testimony to Portlanders’ dedication as volunteers and commitment to the environmental health of our community. These cleanups provide our neighbors with an excellent opportunity to “reduce, reuse and recycle” all in one convenient location. They also provide education about community resources, opportunities for civic involvement and the benefits of collective action, working together to make a difference in our community.

Southeast Uplift supports community area cleanups by offering trainings to cleanup coordinators, announcements on our website, as a liaison between city and county bureaus and fiscal support through Metro grants.
