SE Uplift's Submission Policy

Monthly Updates

The SE Uplift Updates include stories and information about our organization, our neighborhoods and our partners. We also include information and stories that are relevant to the SE Uplift coalition area and city-wide stories that are of interest to our community. If you have a story that you think should be considered for our monthly update click here.

Action Alerts

Action alerts are time-sensitive and are used to create a call-to-action. SE Uplift will use them sparingly to not overwhelm our readers.

In order to make your Action Alert effective we have outlined some basic information for you to include. If you want additional resources for creating an action alert click here for more tips.

Provide a summary statement and include the following.

  • Explain why it is meaningful to SE Uplift neighbors
  • What action do you want your readers to do?
  • Do you want them to attend a meeting?

  • Do they need to write a letter?

  • Include links to additional information if available.
  • You are encouraged to include images
  • 72 dpi

  • No larger than 3 in x 3 in
