Neighborhood association and community area clean-ups are testimony to Portlanders’ dedication as volunteers and commitment to the environmental health of our community. These clean-ups provide our neighbors with an excellent opportunity to “reduce, reuse and recycle” all in one convenient location. They also provide education about community resources, opportunities for civic involvement and the benefits of collective action, working together to make a difference in our community.
