Climate Change Presentation by Secretary of State Bill Bradbury

 
Secretary of State Bill Bradbury, a member of Oregon's Climate Change Commission, has given over 130 presentations all around Oregon based on Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth slide show and enhanced with many slides on how a warming climate is affecting Oregon. Mr. Bradbury's presentation looks at the science of climate change, the impacts and solutions to this crisis. Some topics include the astonishing effects on Mount Hood and the Rogue River, the Oregon dead zone, timber and agricultural effects and weather oddities. Additionally, he will end the presentation with a short discussion with his audience.

This exciting event is being sponsored by the Sunnyside Sustainability Committee and SE Uplift. It is being held in the Sanctuary at the Sunnyside Methodist Church located at SE 35th & Yamhill on Tuesday, September 30th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
