Streetcar Master Plan

SE Working Group

At the next three meetings (June 19, July 2 and July 17) the SE Working Group will compile field survey reports from stakeholder interviews in the 10 potential Southeast corridors, rate each corridor for public support and issues, and draft a report on public issues for a potential Southeast Streetcar System concept.

The City's public involvement process has just been expanded and extended to include extensive participation by neighborhood, business and other stakeholder groups between August and October.

All district Working Groups will meet with the Streetcar Advisory Committee at METRO Room 370, 5:30-8:30 PM June 25 and July 23 to report on preliminary and then final assessments of a system concept for each district.

Anyone who attends is a member of the Working Group. We need more participants from all over Southeast, to review the 10 proposed corridors in Southeast for public support, from Sandy to Woodstock and from Milwaukie Ave to 82nd Ave.

You can find details of the Streetcar Master Plan, Workbook for the group, and maps at the PDOT Website.

Or you can pick up the Streetcar Workbook at SE Uplift, 9AM-3 Monday - Thursday.

Richard N. Ross, Southeast resident and planner, is the Working Group's volunteer facilitator. richardnross [at] earthlink [dot] net
