Take Your Best Shot Southeast!

SE Uplift's 2009 photo contest invited community members to participate in immortalizing SE Portland's unique culture through photography. Winners' photos will be on display at SE Uplift beginning March 5th and will serve as a window into some of the wonderful neighborhoods within our coalition.

Southeast Uplift is happy to announce the winners of the 2010 Neighborhood Small Grants Program!  On Monday, January 4, 2010, the Southeast Uplift Board of Directors awarded twenty-seven neighborhood associations and community-based organizations grants to support community projects and programs.

Stephanie Stewart, Landuse Chair for the Mt. Tabor Neighborhood Association and initiator of the Solarize Portland project, received a certificate of appreciation last week from Mayor Adams for her efforts.  The award was presented by Mayor Adams' Planning and Sustainability Policy Coordinator, Megan Ponder, at the Janurary 26th Sustainability Network meeting held at SE Uplift.... Big-time Lunch Tour

Southeast Uplift staff took their bi-weekly Big-time Lunch Tour to the Eastmoreland neighborhood on December 17, 2009.  This was a great opportunity to check out some important points of interest in the neighborhood.  Read more here.
